I agree that Daivd definately helped mellow out Val and i think allowed Val to be comfortable with who she was (i am not sure she was with anyone else really). However and i am sorry to go against the flow of this thread... I am a huge David and Donna Fan and was completely stoked when they got married! I though their Love was so much more realistic then many of the other couples! In my opinion they are definately up their with the greatest 90210 couples (Brandon and Kelly, Dylan and Brenda) - just my thoughts though!

Its sort of strange, because I don't know how I feel about DD being endgame. I loved them in the early years. Then when David cheated, it changed everything imo, because he undermined what Donna had wanted - for her first time to be her wedding night, and to be with him and to be special. Part of me thinks DV should've been endgame. Then again, Val was still devious to an extent, so its hard to say if their relationship would have lasted.

Of all the people David was with, after Donna, Valerie was my favorite. He really brought out her good side. She had a concious when she was with him, he sort of brought out her vulnerable side.

I know what you are saying brucaslove4ever, but yeah i think that it was still special - i mean when it actually happened between DD, David hadnt been pushing Donna at that time it was just something she decided to do... and i know that David cheating completely sucked and would have completely devastated Donna but in all honesty i dont think them being a couple all the way through would have been a good idea either... they grew so much apart? And therefore made a better couple?
