I know that alot of people arent big fans of Kelly, but i was still hoping to find out when and if you actually liked her? Whether it be Early High School, Late High School, Early College, Late College or Out of College... let me know your thoughts on the transformations of this character!

For me I Loved Kelly all the way through the series (with the exception of her with Colin and the whole Finelay debacle!). However i absolutely enjoyed i think the most when Brandon and Kelly first got together! I loved her their and all of her interactions with Brandon! (your shocked i know!) lol

I always loved Kelly, but she could be a hypocrite, and could get very high and mighty. I also hated when she got led astray by men like Colin, etc.

Whenever the point came when she realised what an ass Dylan really was being with her, and how he really loved Brenda, and how she (Kelly) really loved Brandon.
I think it was late Season 4.

I liked Kelly best during late high school and early college I think. She could get very self righteous at times. I liked her least with Matt and Colin I believe.
Hard to say with old series Kelly vs new series Kelly since we don't get to see her as much on the new show...also dynamic has changed so much for her character by giving her a child. She seems more careful and guarded...like she has put up walls around herself.

Yeah agreed... although she had started to become more guarded as the old series went on...

True and I don't blame her with everything she went through in her life.

Me, I LOVE Kelly! I thought she was kinda of a spoiled brat in the beginning, but you couldn't NOT love her! but as she got older, she became a lot more mature and she cared for people. I mean yeah, she made her mistakes and became a little brat once in a while but everyone on the show was in one way or another!

One of my favorite Kelly episodes was Perfect Mom, it's the first time we really get to see Kelly behind the snotty, perfect blond exterior. There are glimpses of why Kelly does what she does in the Halloween episode especially, but that's about it. I think season 3 was the beginning of the focus on Kelly more, but then we just get to see Kelly as she is Dylan's girlfriend. Even the eating disorder thing is not explored enough. She feels rotten about cheating with Dylan but doesn't tell Dylan to take a hike or stop him from pursuing her. She tells Dylan she's had a major crush on him forever but this is not really shown prior to season 3 really. I think season 4 and beyond Kelly starts to change and become a more dimensional character. She starts to realize that Dylan is still in love with Brenda (in season 4) and that she's always had feelings for Brandon. She wants to do her own thing, be a part of the college experience and Dylan doesn't really want to. The way she handles John Sears, telling him off instead of sleeping with him was good, but that wasn't explored either. Sometimes her character was a bit too soap opera but then again by season 5 90210 turned into soap opera I think. The whole cult thing was not explored enough with Kelly or her reaction to being in the fire. I didn't really watch the show that much after Dylan left really but I recently watched some of season 7 and 8. Kelly does change though from the snotty, pretty blond to a confident, independent woman. I think she fell into the drug thing too easily considering how much she hated her mother for the substance abuse. Kelly is a stronger person in the end of the serious though that's for sure, which a good character arc for me.
