So which do you think is the saddest/scariest thing Brenda has had to deal with? Please vote and discuss why you chose that answer.

I chose losing Dylan to Kelly. I know it sounds crazy because the "being held up at gunpoint thing" would seem worse but i know how it feels to lose your first love to a bestfriend. and that happening will leave you in the gutter for days, weeks, and even months. sometimes people never get over it. where as the "being held up at gunpoint thing" was also terrifying, you can eventually get over it. She had support from everyone and she overcame that. but when it came to the B/D/K triangle everyone looked right through her like it was nothing and K/D were to wrapped up in screwing they didn't really give a damn (and Kelly acted as though Brenda should talk to her after what happened, how selfish! Brenda lost the love of her life to her and she what? wants to sit and drink tea with her?) A list of things can be gained after losing your boyfriend to your bestfriend (because when you have a bestfriend sometimes people compare you two ALL the time) you can get insecure about yourself like your not good enough, Depressed like how she was listening to "Losing My Religion" over and over again. You can begin to FEAR love because what previously happened hurt you to much, you can become Jealous toward your Bestfriend (someone you are supposed to love) and can harm them in some sort of way from verbal to physical (even though you don't want to, it could just happen), and you can begin to show you anger/or hurt by doing new things like going back to Minnesota and trying to leave what happened behind, or use someone as rebound like Stuart.

^^ awwww, that was beautiful and I agree with you 100%! I don't know if I'm the only one who thinks this but I don't think Brenda EVER got over losing Dylan to Kelly. I suddenly feel more bad and sorry for Brenda. Damn Kelly and Dylan!! How could they do that to her?! Oh, and she tells the self-defense instructor that she's still angry a little bit about the robbery but i think half that anger was from losing dylan to kelly.

^^^ thank you. and yes i totally agree. you could always tell in season 4 how much pain was inside of her for losing him to kelly. that why i believe she was so outspoken and more rebellious in season 4 because she was trying to hold in all her anger in a way so no one can see it and say anything about it. and not even her own twin noticed!. And i also agree with you there! that Brenda's anger came more from the B/D/K triangle! because even Cindy seen that and told Jim that she had no idea that much anger was being boiled up inside her.

I chose losing Dylan to Kelly... but when it came to the B/D/K triangle everyone looked right through her like it was nothing and K/D were to wrapped up in screwing they didn't really give a damn ... You can begin to FEAR love because what previously happened hurt you to much, you can become Jealous toward your Bestfriend (someone you are supposed to love) I almost voted for the Pregnancy scare, but after reading what you had to say Devin, I have to agree with you. I think this, more than anything had a profound impact on brenda, not because it was more serious, or whatever, but because Brenda had support going through the other issues, with this, she seemed really alienated.

yeah i will go with that too... hmmm it did profoundly affect her more then the other issues... and it is what made her so bitter throughout season 4 and perhaps beyond (can we assume) poor bren - brandon really did leave her in the lurch here... was dissapointed he wasnt more supportive of his twin! :S

^^ I agree with everything you said except the "made her so bitter throughout season 4" part. I never thought Brenda was bitter. Maybe I'm just too much of a die heart fan so I don't or haven't noticed it.

i'd say for the scariest thing when she had that breast lump that could of been cancer. and for the saddest i'd say losing dylan.
